I am contemplating suicide.
Yes, I am very much aware of the insane grip teen suicide has over the globe and even more on the internet...
It is very much banal and 'not original'.
But I am no teenager in throbbing pain - I am an adult bored by daily complacency and my acute inability to find an actual job.
Oh the horror!
I wonder how life - as we know of it - would change once I die.
My friends would pretty much feel bad and move on, as I would if one of them died. My father would experience remorse and would indulge in his favorite game of 'let's shift the blame'. I guess my mother was the reason I never had the courage to pull the trigger in junior high where bullying was still in 'mode'. I could never tell her how much she actually mattered.
We used to have this connection back in the days, when my father used to be a 'son-of-a-bitch' and reign over us. We would run and comfort each other in the dark, scared that he would hear us breathing and pound us again. I miss the days of action. I could recall that New Year's eve when he chased us away and we spent hours inside the prayer house in our yard. It was just magical...
I guess am afraid to leave her behind cleaning up the mess.
Maybe I should get help. But I am broke and my friends spend most of their time dwelling in their own troubles. Recently, I went to visit a friend to share my suicidal tendencies. He spent the whole day shoving his angst-ridden issues down my throat. I drifted while he was talking and bam! - I was in my room trying to rope a noose...
Back to sleep!
